Cold-pressed, antioxidant-rich, low in saturated fats - Hyperlocal alternative to olive oil in dressings, marinades, condiments, sauces and soups
Rich with plant-based fat, it provides a delicious substitute for dairy, animal-based fats and helps reduce intake of saturated fats in one's diet. It has a high smoke point of 470 F which is a perfect medium ideal for cooking at high temperatures and for deep frying.
Pecan oil is balanced in fatty acids, rich in monounsaturated fats (specifically oleic acid - 52.0%) and low in saturated fats (9.5% - less than in olive oil (13.5%), peanut oil (16.90%), or corn oil (12.70%).
Neutral in flavor, it takes on the flavor of whatever seasoning is being used with it. Use it to infuse, sauté, bake, roast, stir-fry, pan-fry, brown or put on a finishing sear.
