Note on comb: Comb honey is the rawest form of honey you can buy, untouched by human hands: each cell is protected with a film of wax that is 0.7 mm thin. Honey bees produce beeswax from glands in their abdomens and use this wax to build perfect and gorgeous hexagons to hold the honey they cure from nectar. It contains all the healthy pollens, propolis, and enzymes placed there by the bees.
Two Hives Honey started as two neighborhood hives back in 2015 by West Texan (and multi-hyphenated ex-CIA agent) Tara Chapman as passion project. Today Two Hives Honey occupies a few acres property near Manor, offers some of the finest honey Austin bees can make and enables community education and cross-pollination.
