Similar in texture and flavor to both Icelandic Skyr and Greek yogurt, Besos is made with probiotics and rennet – a coagulant used in cheese making to separate curd from whey. The rennet helps thicken the cheese so that the result is a decadent, creamy, rich consistency, a slight tanginess reminiscent of yogurt, with a texture that leaves it quivering on the edge of cream cheese.
Ingredients: Grade-A pasteurized goat milk, culture, microbial enzymes.
Shelf life: Up to 30 days, refrigerated.
